I've been behind the chair since 2005. For most of those years, I was also the one piecing together my salon's back end at eleven pm. A booking system that wouldn't talk to my notes. Client records on three different platforms. A new content tool every other month, and never enough time to actually use any of them.
Then I started teaching myself how to take the mess of tools small business owners juggle and make it quieter, simpler, more like one system that just runs. I built it for my own salon first. Then for the other stylists I knew. Now I build it for whoever asks.
I'm still doing hair. I'm just also doing this.
