I'm a former salon owner teaching salons to get found and get off the computer. Behind the chair since 2005, and I know what it costs to be the best-kept secret in town.
I've been behind the chair since 2005. I owned two salons, and I taught new stylists for seven years. Nobody in any of those rooms ever taught the computer part. Not the profit and loss sheet, not the client records, not the posting. You were just supposed to pick it up at eleven pm.
Then I started teaching myself where salons actually show up, and where they quietly do not. On Google, on the map, and now in the answers people get when they ask an assistant for a salon near them. I worked it out on my own salon first. Then for the stylists I knew. Then I worked out how to hand the eleven pm jobs to Claude. Now I teach salon owners both.
I'm not behind the chair anymore. I teach the part nobody taught us.
